El Macuá is the National Drink of Nicaragua. The drink is named after a bird indigenous to Nicaragua.
"One part white rum, one part guava juice, with a half-portion of lemon juice and some sugar and ice, this week it became Nicaragua's national tipple and a challenger to the region's more established drinks."
Translated from parts to shots.
- 2 shots White Rum (preferably Nicaraguan rum)
- 2 shots Guava Juice
- 1 shot Fresh Lemon Juice
- Sugar (to taste, presumably)
Shake with Ice, and then strain into an Ice-filled Rocks Glass.
