From "Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide" (1972)

  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp Bar sugar
  • Carbonated water
  • 2 dashes Bitters
  • 2 oz Gin

Put lime juice, sugar and 2 oz carbonated water into 12 oz glass. Fill glass with ice. Stir thoroughly. Add bitters and gin. Fill glass with carbonated water. Serve with swizzle stick to allow drinker to do final stirring.
