The Mojito Criollo is a Cocktail which consists of Rum, Fresh Lemon Juice, Sugar, Mint, Shaved Ice, and Sodawater.

  • MOJITO CRIOLLO N°1, made with Rum
  • MOJITO CRIOLLO N°2, made with Gin

  • Build
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar, muddle with several mint leaves & lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 oz light rum
  • Add lime shell in glass
  • Fill 2/3 with shaved ice
  • Fill with soda
  • Add mint leaf
  • Serve in a tall glass

  • Several sprigs fresh mint
  • Peel of 1 small lemon, without the white pith
  • Juice of 1 small lime
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 2 ounces Bacardi light rum
  • Sparkling mineral water to taste

In a mortar, crush the mint leaves. Combine the leaves and the remaining ingredients, except the mineral water, in a cocktail shaker, stir well to release the mint aroma, pour without straining into a tall glass, and top with sparkling mineral water.

  • A drop of Angostura Bitters
  • A small branch of Mint (to crush it slightly)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Just a little bit of soda water
  • One Jigger of white Rum
  • 2 or 3 ice cubes
