The Bramble is a Cocktail consisting of [[Gin]], [[Fresh Lemon Juice]], Sugar, and Blackberry Liqueur. ==Who created the Bramble?== The Bramble was created by [[Dick Bradsell]]. ==Original Recipe== *35ml [[Gin]] *15ml [[fresh lemon juice]] *10ml [[sugar syrup]] Build over crushed ice, in a whisky glass. Stir, then pour 15ml Blackberry Liqueur over the top of the drink, in a circular fashion. Garnish with a lemon slice, and two Raspberries. ==IBA Recipe (so wrong, its not funny)== A modern classic this has all the luscious flavor of blackberry and lime juice balanced by the sugar and blackberry liqueur. *5cl gin *4 blackberries *3cl fresh lime juice *1 teaspoon caster sugar *dash crème de mûre (blackberry liqueur) *soda water Place the blackberries in a small bowl or a mortar and pestle. Add the lime juice and sugar and muddle quickly. Strain through a cheesecloth into an old-fashioned glass. Add the gin and crushed ice. Top up with soda. Add the blackberry liqueur. Stir.
