The Salt Dog is a drink consisting of Vodka, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, and a dash of Salt or a Salt-rimmed glass.

- 2 oz Vodka
- 2 oz Grapefruit Juice
Shake over ice cubesin a shaker, strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with salt.

- 4 parts vodka (2 oz)
- Grapefruit juice
- Coarse salt
- Granulated sugar
- Lime wedge
Mix salt and sugar together in a saucer. Moisten rim of chilled old fashioned glass with lime wedge. Dip the rim into the salt/sugar mixture. Discard lime. Fill glass with ice cubes and pour in vodka and grapefruit juice. Stir.
