Pål Løberg, who is also known as the Webtender, is what can be considered the Jerry Thomas of the 21st Century. Not an innovatator as such, but someone who has embodied the spirit of cocktail making, and believed in it for no other reason that it makes other people happy.
Even though he has never worked behind a bar, his contribution to the modern cocktail world is unparralelled. A debt of honour is owed by all those cocktail enthusiasts who use the internet.
