An Astronaut is a cocktail made with bourbon, Tang and orange or lemon.
Recipe
- 2 parts Tang
- 1 part Bourbon
- 3 cubes Ice, crushed
Garnish with lemon or orange twist.
History
Although its exact origin is unknown, the drink has existed since the early 1960s. In 1961, the Washington Post reported that two new "space age" drinks were being served in London, the Cosmonaut and the Astronaut.
