The Larchmont is a Cocktail which consists of Rum, Orange Flavoured Brandy, Fresh Lime Juice, and Sugar Syrup.
The Larchmont was invented by David Embury.
"The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks," by David A. Embury, 1948/1952/ 1958
- 6 parts Rum, Light (of Cuban Type)
- 2 parts Brandy, Orange Flavored
- 2 parts Lime Juice
- 1 part Simple Syrup
- Orange Twist
Shake with ice, and then strain to a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with orange twist.
