Ward Eight

The Ward Eight is a mixed drink which consists of Whiskey, Fresh Lemon Juice, Fresh Orange Juice, and Grenadine Syrup.

Historical Recipes

"Savoy Cocktail Book" by Harry Craddock (1930)

  • 1 tsp. Grenadine
  • 1/4 Orange Juice.
  • 1/4 Lemon Juice.
  • 1/2 Rye Whisky.

Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.


Other Recipes

from B-Side Lounge, Cambridge

  • 2 oz. rye or bourbon
  • juice of half a lemon
  • splash of orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of grenadine
  • sugar to taste

Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake, strain, serve.
