Sex on the Beach
There are two common strains of this drink. One uses black raspberry liqueur Chambord and melon liqueur Midori; the other uses peach schnapps.
A properly made Sex on the Beach requires cranberry juice. In recent years some bars have been using grenadine instead.
Recipes
Mr. Boston Official Bartender's & Party Guide
- 1/2 oz Black Raspberry Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Melon Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- Cranberry Juice.
Stir with ice and strain into a cordial or shot glass. Top with cranberry juice.

- 1 1/2 oz. Peach schnapps
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
- 2 oz. Cranberry juice
- 2 oz. Orange juice
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice
Combine ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass with ice.

Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass over ice. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and orange juice, and stir.
