A tropical cocktail invented by bartender Harry Yee at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1959. It was supposedly the first cocktail to be garnished with a paper parasol, which has now become common at many tiki and Asian bars and restaurants.
[edit] Recipe
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 1 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 oz Peach Brandy
- 1/2 oz Demerara Rum
- 1 oz Gold Rum
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Pour into a tiki mug. Add more ice to fill. Garnish with a paper parasol.
