Place the blackberries in a small bowl or a mortar and pestle. Add the lime juice and sugar and muddle quickly. Strain through a cheesecloth into an old-fashioned glass. Add the gin and crushed ice. Top up with soda. Add the blackberry liqueur. Stir. Serve with a straw, a slice of lime, and a blackberry in the drink.

The Bramble is a Cocktail consisting of Gin, Fresh Lemon Juice, Sugar, and Blackberry Liqueur.

The Bramble was created by London Bartender Dick Bradsell, and the drink is very popular in England.

Build over crushed ice, in a whisky glass. Stir, then pour 15ml Blackberry Liqueur over the top of the drink, in a circular fashion. Garnish with a lemon slice, and two Raspberries.
