The Rum Runner was first concocted in 1972 by John Ebert at the Tiki Bar of the Holiday Isle Resort, on the island of Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
Some versions call for blackberry liqueur instead of blackberry brandy.

- 1/2 oz black rum (Bacardi Select)
- 1/2 oz 151-proof rum (Barcardi 151)
- 7/8 oz blackberry brandy
- 7/8 oz banana liqueur
- 5/8 oz grenadine
- 1 oz lime juice
Blend ingredients with crushed ice.
