The Dark and Stormy is a Cocktail which consists of Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, and Lime.

The Dark and Stormy is Gosling's Black Seal Rum's "Signature Drink".

"DARK AND STORMY Pour one and one-half ounces of Gosling's Black Seal rum (80 proof, not the 151 proof) over ice in a tall glass. Top up with ginger beer."


Common Recipes

Recipe #1: Goslings

  • 45ml Gosling's Black Seal Rum
  • Barritts Ginger Beer

Gosling's Black Seal Rum, top with Barritts ginger beer. Garnish with lime (optional).


Recipe #2: Gary Regan.

  • 2 ounces Gosling’s Black Seal rum
  • 3 ounces ginger beer
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish

Build in an ice-filled highball glass. Add the garnish. Serve in a highball glass.
