The Blue Hawaiian is a cocktail that contains rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut, making it a blue Pina Colada. However, some recipes substitute cream of coconut with coconut-flavored rum or leave it out altogether. This cocktail shouldn't be confused with the similarly named Blue Hawaii.

Recipes
"New New York Bartender's Guide" by Sally Ann Berk (1997)
- 2 oz Light rum
- 2 oz Blue curacao
- 2 oz Cream of coconut
- 4 oz Pineapple juice
- Pineapple spear
- Maraschino cherry
Combine all liquid ingredients in a blender with cracked ice and blend at high speed for 10 seconds. Pour into chilled highball glass and ganish with cherry and pineapple spear.

- 1 oz Light Rum
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Cream of Coconut
Combine ingredients with one cup crushed ice in blender at ice speed. Pour into highball glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.

- 1 oz Light rum
- 1 oz Coconut flavored rum
- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 2 oz Pineapple juice
Combine ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice and shake well. Pour into a highball glass. Garnish with cherry and orange slice.
