Not a true Martini to the purist, the Apple Martini is a cocktail which consists of Vodka or Gin, and Apple Schnapps. It is also known as the Appletini. It was reputedly invented at Lola's, a Los Angeles bar, in 1994, where it was given the name Adam's Apple Martini.

This drink is believed to have sparked the turn-of-the-century Martini craze. The craze was further spurred by the TV show Sex and the City, which featured the Cosmopolitan.
