A cocktail featured in the book “The Flowing Bowl,” by William Schmidt, published in 1891.

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 dash mineral water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2/3 oz Virgin Islands rum
  • 1/3 oz brandy
  • 1 dash Curacao

Stir ingredients in a mixing glass, add crushed ice and stir again. Strain into a cocktail glass.
