The Ernest Hemingway Special is a Cocktail which consists of Rum, Fresh Lime Juice, Maraschino Liqueur, and Grapefruit Juice.


Original Recipe

La Florida booklet (1939)

2 oz white Rum juice of 1/2 lime 1 teaspoon Maraschino Liqueur 1 teaspoon Grapefruit Juice

Shake with ice, and then strain over crushed ice (frappé), in a Rocks glass.
