Ted Haigh, Doctor Cocktail Says

"Oxford Night-Caps was a booklet put out every few years from 1820 for quite a number of years. It had some association with Oxford University and was a lighthearted study of contemporary drink fashions there. My copy (which is in the museum in Vegas) is from 1829 if memory serves. It covered drinks from punch to Negus to Bishop to "Lawn Sleeves" to "Cardinal" & "Pope" to Posset to Rumfustian to Flip and Wassail - and that hardly begins to cover it."
