Some list the ingredients of a Tequila Daisy as Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, Sugar, and Cointreau. The popular drink called a Margarita is made with Tequila, Fresh Lime, and Cointreau (Triple Sec). In Spanish, Margarita translates as Daisy. However, a recipe from Trader Vic includes grenadine instead of Cointreau.
