The Banana Daiquiri is a cocktail which consists of rum, fresh lime juice, sugar, and banana. This drink is said to have been first concocted by Capt. George Soule in 1953 at Mountain Top, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The bar at Mountain Top features it as its signature drink. For authenticity, one may choose to use US Virgin Islands rum (Cruzan).
