"Chi chi" is pidgin English for "breast milk." It is basically a Pina Colada, or Bahia, with vodka instead of rum.

Don the Beachcomber Chi Chi from "Beachbum Berry's Intoxica!" by Jeff Berry (2002)

  • 5 oz Unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Lopez Coconut Cream
  • 2 oz Vodka

Blend at high speed with 8 oz crushed ice for 5 seconds. Pour into pilsener glass. Garnish with cocktail cherry speared to a pineapple chunk.


Trader Vic's Chi Chi from "Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide" (1972)

  • 4 oz. Trader Vic's Piña Colada Mix
  • 1 oz. Vodka

To a blender with 1 cup crushed ice add the above ingredients. Blend until mixed. Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with pineapple spear or slice.

Macadamia Nut Chi Chi From "Beachbum Berry's Intoxica!" by Jeff Berry (2002)

  • 8 oz Unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 oz Lopez Coconut Cream
  • 4 oz Vodka
  • 2 1/2 Macadamia nut liqueur

Put everthing in a blender and fill to the top with ice. Blend until slushy. Serves 2-4.
