[edit] Equal Parts Recipe, most commonly used
- 1/4 Scotch Whisky
- 1/4 Sweet Vermouth
- 1/4 Cherry Heering (Cherry Brandy)
- 1/4 Fresh Orange Juice
Shake with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass; garnish with a twist of orange.

- 1 ounce Scotch
- 1 ounce orange juice
- 3/4 ounce cherry-flavored brandy (Cherry Heering or Cherry Marnier are best.)
- 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
