[edit] Equal Parts Recipe, most commonly used

  • 1/4 Scotch Whisky
  • 1/4 Sweet Vermouth
  • 1/4 Cherry Heering (Cherry Brandy)
  • 1/4 Fresh Orange Juice

Shake with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass; garnish with a twist of orange.

  • 1 ounce Scotch
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 3/4 ounce cherry-flavored brandy (Cherry Heering or Cherry Marnier are best.)
  • 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth

Shake with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass.
