The Vodka Martini is a vodka version of the Martini Cocktail, popularized by Ian Fleming's James Bond.
[edit] Recipe
- 2 1/2 oz vodka
- dry vermouth to taste
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with olive or lemon twist.
Note: James Bond prefers his Vodka Martinis "shaken, not stirred". Shaking creates a cloudy drink with tiny shards of ice. The ice shards can be removed, if desired, by double straining.
