Cocktail with lime juice, Falernum, orange liqueur, bitters, Pernod and rum.
Recipes
Don the Beachcomber version from "Beachbum Berry's Grog Log" (1998)
- 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz Falernum (make your own falernum)
- 3 tsp Cointreau
- Dash Angostura bitters
- 1/8 tsp Pernod
- 3/4 oz Light Puerto Rican rum
- 1 1/2 oz Dark Jamaican rum
Blend with 1 cup crushed ice for 5 seconds. Pour into glass. Add more crushed ice to fill. Garnish with maraschino cherry.
Trader Vic's version from "Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide" (1972)
- 1/4 oz Lemon juice
- 1/4 oz Falernum (make your own falernum)
- 1/4 oz Cointreau
- 3/4 oz Light Puerto Rican rum
- 1 3/4 oz Dark Jamaican rum
Shake with ice cubes. Pour into 10 oz glass.
